Surprise! Second blog today!

Only this one I’m writing on-the-spot because I am too excited to wait until next week, and I had to share now…ready for this? Facebook just updated to allow user admins to like their own pages!!! I’m so excited I can’t contain myself.

What does this mean? It means you are no longer just a business entity when you are on a page that you are an Admin of. Some of you may not pay attention to stuff like this, but there are times when I really want to like stuff on a page where I’m an admin as myself – my person – not as the company. Social marketing needs to be social, and while you want your “business” to be social, there have been times where I wanted to be social as the person within the business, not just a masked being.

That’s it! I was just so excited I couldn’t wait to share! Yay Facebook!
