First the Rant

Google has created its own mess. From using incoming links to creating “good content” It is my belief they have done more damage to the quality of the internet then positive. Does anyone really know what “good content” is? And more importantly who wants to read on the internet anyway? How to Be Happier: 3 Questions to Ask Yourself

May 20th, 2013 09:00am CDT by Nathan Schaad
Why be happier? Simple: You’ll be more productive. People want to do the things that they love, and in some cases, that means doing other things that they don’t love in order to get to do the things they love later. However, it’s really easy to get to the end of doing all the things you hate (we are taught to put our most draining tasks early in the day so that they’re out of the way, after all), and not have any energy left to work on the things you love. When this continues for too long, it is easy to become extremely discouraged, depressed, and feel as though you just don’t “want” the things you love enough to deserve them.

In case you didn’t know that already, read the title again. Some might say that that is a sweeping generalization that isn’t entirely politically correct. However, think about it a little bit more carefully and it makes sense. Insanity is really only definable as a lack of sanity, and sanity is only easily definable as a certain set of personality traits that the society has deemed “normal.” So, really, there are only two types of people: normal people and crazy people. If you don’t want to be normal, it stands to reason that you can choose to be crazy, since all crazy means is “not normal.”

Increased Demand: Staying Afloat in Rising Waters

April 29th, 2013 09:00am CDT by Nathan Schaad
It’s been a pretty crazy couple of weeks here at RevBuilders Marketing. We’re getting a nice influx of new clients, and as a result our schedules are all getting just a little bit tighter. Sometimes, I can imagine, businesses aren’t 100% sure that they want to grow for this reason. It does mean increased workload on the existing employees, after all, and in most cases, unless you get a major spike in growth, it will be a while before adding an employee or seven makes sense. If you’re getting some new work, and you are feeling as though there isn’t enough time in the day for your business to handle it all, try these two tips.
